Your Pathway Home Starts with Us

  • Apply Online.

    It’s fast, easy and it won’t impact your credit score. Once approved we’ll give you a home shopping budget and help you decide which Pathway product makes the most sense for you.

  • Search.

    It’s time to start looking for your home! You can use your own real estate agent, or we can pair you with one of ours. Choose from homes on the market or one of our move-in ready homes. 

  • Move In.

    Once we’ve closed on the home, the Pathway team will get it move-in ready while you pack up your stuff ahead of moving day.

    You’re home now! Settle in, meet the neighbors, host a backyard barbeque. We'll take care of the home’s major maintenance and upkeep so you can focus on getting mortgage-ready.

  • Buy, Rent, or Walk Away.

    When you’re ready to buy, Pathway will sell it to you at a pre-agreed price. If you decide not to buy, you can continue renting, move into a different Pathway Home, or move on. There are no penalties or fees for canceling.

Find the perfect home, let Pathway purchase the home, and lock in your rent for five years. With Pathway you’ll always have the option to purchase the home at the pre-agreed price but no obligation.

What do I need to pay up front?

Our application only takes a few minutes. Once you’re approved and find a home, we’ll collect your first month’s rent and a security deposit. If you’re in our Savings Match program, we’ll also collect the 2.5% Savings Deposit.

What income and credit is needed for approval?

We require a minimum annual household income of $75,000 and a credit score of 620. Applicants must also pass a background check. You can find our full application requirements here or, if you prefer to speak with someone about your application reach out.

Am I committing to a 5 year lease?

No. Each lease term is one year in length, but we lock in your annual rent and home price for five years. Pathway’s goal is to help you become a homeowner. We believe that 5 years provides a realistic timeframe to save money and get mortgage-ready. 

When can I purchase the home?

At any point after the first year. Your lease will detail the purchase price of the home for each year, so there are no surprises. We are excited to see you become a homeowner whenever you are ready!
